Chair – Trevor
Trevor has been chair now for so long we can’t remember… but he’s a leader! His passion is glam and sparkly and he loves to try and top each year’s amount of glitter balls! Trevor’s favourite word on Pride day is wow…. |

Vice Chair – Jen
Is also responsible for marketing, promotion and public relations – in other words has a lot to say! She worked for many years in event management so was asked to assist in the first Doncaster Pride in 2007 so has been in from the very start. |

Treasurer - Andy
Andy is in very tight control of the money. He is solely responsible for the bank book and the cheque book and has had to keep us all on a very tight budget for this year. He spends hours and hours filling in bids and adding up costs. But despite that isn’t boring at all!

Secretary – Cath
Cath is the one charged with note taking and arranging the committee and partner meetings. She also looks after us all with tea and biscuits and the occasional heap of sweets to see us through the long, long Monday night meetings that start in September and only break for a few weeks around Christmas. This year Caf is also leading on the Markets. |

Stage Manager – Annette
Annette is a magician. She makes the stage line up appear at the last minute and always within budget…. We don’t even know how but rumour has it agents fear the call! She rules the backstage and makes sure the stage runs to time and the change over’s are quick and slick.
Sound and Stage Technician – Bo
The one with the beard that’s on stage more than anyone else! He is married to Annette so basically does as he’s told! He plugs things in and listens to stuff and moves mics and instruments around and does a fantastic job making sure even the odd dodgy vocal sounds good. He also sings a bit too… lead singer of Tobias who have performed at all 4 Prides to date.

Website and Fire Fighter - Michael
Michael makes the website work…uploads and fiddles about with stuff. When he’s not doing this he does all the other little jobs that need sorting out. On the day you will see him running around at 100mph doing what we call Fire Fighting, it basically means he supports the rest of us making sure everyone is happy and things are running smoothly. |

Drag Race and VIP runner – Mike
Mike has the job of coordinating the Drag Race as well as being the runner for the VIP’s on the day of Pride. The rest of the year Mike works with the committee on all planning and offers many a good suggestion – he also injects the humour and giggles his way through even Jen’s most serious moments!

Craig
Craig has rejoined Pride after a couple of years living away. He is a valuable member of the team and has this year taken on the role of sponsorship coordinator… badgering people for money basically and he’s getting pretty good at it!

Volunteer co-ordinator – Jan
Never short of ideas or opinions is Jan. A valuable and vocal member of the team with plenty of contacts and enough stamina to leave the younger members of the team standing. Working hard on the Drag Race this year with Mike and will be on the info point on Pride Day.

Stage and Lighting – Phil
Phil coordinates the infrastructure around the indoor and outdoor event. He monitors sound and safety and all the legalities that we have to adhere to. He also is responsible for providing huge numbers of glitter balls, sparkly things and pink fluffy stuff… |

Jill
Another new member of the team who started as a volunteer and was so god we persuaded her to join on a full time basis. First Aider, market stall hassler and general doer of anything. Jill will be on the info booth on the day as well as the pay booth and pretty much everything else – gets about a bit!!!

DJ and stage – Wayne
Pride DJ and wearer of the tightest hot pants in the West… Wayne is already working on this year’s outfits and there’s bound to be a kilt or PVC in there somewhere. Wayne is one half of the presentation team, ably supported by our own Miss Penny. |

Our very own photographer, John is working backstage on the day capturing the essence of Pride 2010.

Kevin Backstage
Johns partner and right hand man, will also be hosting our backstage area and looking after out acts.

The committee would also like to mention our regular helpers and “Pride Widows”…. Chino for his assistance with the programe and posters and Alison for supporting the effort year round and for all the hours she spends listening to Jen going on… and on…. and on…..
