Car Parking

There is plenty of parking for patrons close to King Street. Parking meter spaces are free after 6.00pm around Christ Church and East Laith Gate. There is also evening parking available at the NCP sites on East Laith Gate and Frances Street at a reduced rate after 6.00pm.

Theatre Bar

The theatre bar will be open each evening. A wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic and hot drinks are available to our customers. Orders for interval drinks can be placed before a performance.

Auditorium

The auditorium has tiered seats and can accomodate up to 100 people and is fully air-conditioned. We are fortunate to have modern lighting and sound equipment. The stage, which is raised, is clearly visible from all seats.

Disabled Facilities

The theatre offers a warm welcome to disabled patrons. There is wheelchair access to the lounge and the auditorium, as well as to our toilet facilities.

Membership of the Lit

We are always ready to welcome new members, helpers and offers of sponsorship from the local business community to help promote the Arts in Doncaster. We can offer members a wide range of opportunities for involvement in the theatre both on and off stage, as well as new partnerships with local organisations who wish to raise their profile in the community, whilst benefitting from our hospitality package. We accept new members at any time during the year. Full membership for the employed is currently £30 per annum and £15 for the unemployed.
