Doncaster Pride Event Terms and Conditions
Entry / Wristbands Official Doncaster Pride wristbands must be purchased and worn to gain entry to the event.
Wristbands may be purchased in advance via the Doncaster Pride website or on the day at the Keepmoat Stadium
Entry will be from 2pm on Saturday 20th August until 10pm on Saturday 20th August 2011.
All times may be subject to change.
The Management Committee and its stewards reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who has purchased a wristband but who may be deemed a risk to the safety of the audience and/or themselves. Refusal of entry may also be made in the event that the holder may be deemed likely to affect the enjoyment of the audience or the running of the event.
The Management Committee and its stewards will refuse entry to any person(s) who appears to be heavily under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances. Refusal will also be granted to anyone displaying aggressive behaviour.
The Management Committee and its stewards reserve the right to eject any persons found within the venue not wearing a wristband. Wristbands once purchased must be worn at all times. Lost wristbands will require the attendee to purchase another, at their own cost. Lost wristbands will not be replaced.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 or over). Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable – even if the event does not take place. Lost wristbands cannot be replaced and the Management Committee will insist on a new wristband being purchased. Wristbands remain the property of Doncaster Pride and its Management Committee. No wristbands may be used as competition prizes or promotions without the prior written consent of the Doncaster Pride Management Committee.
Conduct The possession of a wristband will constitute the acceptance of these terms and conditions set by the Doncaster Pride Committee. The Doncaster Pride Committee, its Management Committee and its partners accept no liability for loss, damage, cost or expense arising from the breach of contract by the promoter. Attendees of the event are requested to also observe directives, instructions or statements made within the event premises, particularly where such requests are made in order to adhere to health and safety laws, and the strict health and safety practices of the event organisers. The Management Committee reserve the right to ask attendees to leave, in the event that their behaviour causes offence and/or that their conduct is deemed inappropriate by the Management Committee or its stewards. No alcoholic drinks, or food, may be brought into the event. No glass to be brought into the event. No alcohol will be allowed to be taken away from the premises. The Management Committee and its stewards reserve the right to search any person and their belongings who may potentially be attempting to smuggle alcohol, illegal substances, drugs or weapons in and/or out of the event. Doncaster Pride runs a strictly ‘no drugs’ policy. Litter must be put into the bins provided. There will be areas within the premises that are out of bounds to wristband holders, including backstage, the promoliner, artist-only areas and back office areas. The possession of a wristband does not guarantee admission to these areas. VIP ticket holders only will have access to the VIP area. Enclosed areas within the venue will be strictly non-smoking areas. Signage regarding areas that are classed as non-smoking must be observed. The Management Committee and its stewards reserve the right to ask anyone not following these rules to leave the event (without refund). The Doncaster Pride Committee take health and safety seriously. The Management Committee and the Keepmoat Stadium reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions to ensure the safe management of the event. Attendees to the event are reminded that exposure to loud music can cause damage to hearing. The Doncaster Pride Management Committee and/or its partners accept no liability for any damage to hearing as a result/potential result of attendance to the event.
Accessible Facilities Car parking facilities are available adjacent to the venue @ £1 per car all day. Public transport to the event stops close to the event area. All areas within the venue are deemed accessible and wheelchair friendly, including accessible toilets. Guide dogs and/or hearing dogs will be allowed into the premises. Pets, will be allowed but must be kept under control and restrained at ALL TIMES. Please note that strobe lighting may be used at the event and/or its after party. Photography / Filming Please note that the event may include filming and the taking of pictures. Such materials may be displayed on the Doncaster Pride website and/or other Doncaster Pride marketing literature. Attendance at the event automatically authorises the consent to the use of such media, by members of the audience. Doncaster Pride, its Management Committee and/or its partners accept no liability for the use or misuse of the photography/filming of members of the audience/wristband holders by any other individual attending the event.
Other Information A lost children point will be based at the children’s area. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Those lucky enough to look under 21 will be asked to present ID in order to be served alcohol at any of the bars. Please ensure that you bring ID with you on the day, to avoid disappointment. Strictly no unauthorised traders allowed on site, with the exception of market stall holders who have pre-booked before the event. Information about market stalls/pitches may be found on the Doncaster Pride website. No street peddling in or outside the venue allowed. Strictly no street promotion, fly postering, professional photographic equipment and/or tape or video recorders allowed without the prior approval of the Doncaster Pride Management Committee. No laser pens/equipment allowed.
